Play Leaders

 

Georgian Gardens Play Leaders are a group of Year 6 children who organise playtime games and activities for children across the whole school.   Play Leaders have special training and are co-ordinated in school by Ms Chambers.

Our play leaders volunteer their time to support younger pupils and establish a happy play time.  Play Leaders organise and encourage children to have fun whilst playing games safely and are a great role model for younger pupils.

The scheme benefits the Play Leaders themselves too as the leadership skills they learn will help to raise their self-esteem and self-confidence.
